Support Brad and Nancy's Flood Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Heather, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my parents, Brad and Nancy Ettestad, who have been deeply affected by the recent flooding in western North Carolina caused by Tropical Storm Helene. Their beloved home in Hendersonville, just south of Asheville, was inundated with up to 5 feet of water in some areas.

The storm caused devastating damage, and they’ve lost 80% of their belongings. Their home’s interior will need to be entirely rebuilt, a process that will take months. During this time, my parents are displaced, living in a hotel while they search for a temporary rental home.

The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming, and while they are resilient, they need help. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards covering the cost of rebuilding their home and replacing essential belongings, as well as securing temporary housing. Your generosity will provide them with much-needed relief during this incredibly challenging time.
