My name is Rob Morgan. I am helping to raise money for Brack Roederer and his battle with lung cancer.
Thank you to everyone for taking the time to read this. This is for a very dear friend and business partner of mine for over 23 years. Brack Roederer was born in Louisiana in 1957. He graduated from LSU, and after his graduation he moved to Southern California. He eventually got into high end car sales. That is how I met Brack. I moved to Southern California in 2002 to help my then business partner run TruSpeed Motorcars. Two months later, my partner left the company to work for Ferrari. I had only known Brack a few months. I knew nothing about the car business at the time. Brack agreed to work with me to teach me the car business and run TruSpeed. TruSpeed Motorcars, TruSpeed Motorsports, and now TruSpeed Autosport would not exist if it were not for Brack.
In January of 2024 Brack had a biopsy performed for a lump on his lower abdomen. It was determined that the lump was Malignant, and he started his first round of radiation that lasted 6 weeks. In August of 2024 he had a Pet-Scan that showed tumors in both lungs and in a lymph node next to his spine. He had another biopsy performed and I Cat-Scan. Then in October of 2024 he began his second round of radiation for 6 weeks. In November he started oral chemo paid for by Genetch Grant for clinical research. This treatment is almost $15k per month. He continued this treatment until September of 2025. He stopped the oral treatment in October and started immunotherapy, which is infusion every three weeks, and he is continuing this treatment along with further scans and evaluations. It is important to note that Brack has never smoked cigarettes.
Some of you know that I was diagnosed with Cancer last year, and I am now free and clear. I was fortunate enough to get some of the best care in the World and not have to stress about the financial side of things. Brack is not that fortunate. Brack works for himself transporting cars all over the Western United States. He also brokers high end cars. He has not stopped working since this all began, even while on Chemo. Brack is someone that would do anything for someone he cares about, and he deserves any help that you can give. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
He has paid numerous medical bills to date, as I’m sure you can imagine. His outstanding co-pay to date is $30,960.54. It would be amazing if we could raise that much and more. I would love to see us raise $50k to help with future expenses. The medical expenses will continue to grow as he continues his treatment.
Brack is lucky to have his long-term partner Vera helping him through this, but he has no other family. Let’s help him through this extremely difficult time by being his extended family! I personally want to thank everyone in advance, and I know Brack is thankful and appreciative of any help.
