I am reaching out on behalf of Bridgeport Wrestling (BPT), a citywide wrestling program that brings together student athletes from six local high schools here in Bridgeport. Our team provides young men and women with the opportunity to build discipline, resilience, and teamwork through the sport of wrestling, qualities that extend far beyond the mat and into everyday life.

As an inner-city program, we work hard to make sure every student has the chance to compete with pride and confidence. However, with the high cost of gear and equipment, we face challenges in providing our athletes with what they need. This season, our biggest need is new singlets and updated equipment, as many of our current uniforms are worn out or mismatched.

The total cost of new singlets and equipment is approximately $5,000. With your help, we can ensure that our athletes represent Bridgeport with dignity and unity at every competition while having access to safe and reliable equipment.
