On January 29th, our puppy Bowie fell off of the back of our couch and broke his front right leg. It happened after local vet hours, so we had to bring him to the nearest emergency vet- the Red River Animal Hospital in Fargo. With the severity of his break, he will be needing a surgery to put a plate into his leg to help mend the bones back together.
The surgery will be held in Grand Forks at the Grand Valley Animal Hospital- and will cost $3,000. That is not including his initial emergency visit in Fargo, that came to $1,137.
The total cost of the vet bills, gas money to and from Fargo, and to and from Grand Forks; and the price of two hotels is yet to be determined, and this is hoping and praying that no other difficulties arise before, during or after the procedure.
Anything at all is very much appreciated.
