Support Bowen's Emergency Surgery & Recovery
Donation protected
Hello friends,
Our dear friend Bowen Ames was traveling abroad when he experienced a tragic accident—falling off a 50-foot cliff into the ocean, breaking his right leg in multiple places. He was rushed to the hospital, then stabilized at a specialty clinic before receiving emergency surgery that required multiple plates and pins to stabilize his injuries.
This terrifying and unexpected accident has not only resulted in significant medical expenses, including an ambulance ride, hospital stays, and surgery, but it has also disrupted his livelihood. As a self-employed designer, Bowen faces the daunting challenge of recovering physically while managing the financial strain of postponing his existing work commitments.
Currently, Bowen's medical bills have already exceeded $14,000, and without health insurance, these costs continue to grow. He faces a long road to recovery that will require months, if not years, of physical therapy to regain mobility and return to his normal active self.
We've set an initial fundraising goal of $17,000 to cover Bowen's immediate medical expenses and ongoing rehabilitation needs. Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly support Bowen's recovery journey. Your generosity will help alleviate the financial burden on Bowen during this challenging time, allowing him to focus on healing and rebuilding his strength.
Bowen is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and love from his community. Together, we can help him overcome this setback and get back to his normal life.
Thank you for considering a donation and for sharing Bowen's story with others who may be able to help. Your kindness and support mean the world to us all.
With heartfelt gratitude,
