Bowen and Addy are deeply grateful for the warm thoughts, prayers, and hopeful wishes that so many of you have already shared since the sudden and difficult discovery that Bowen has stage 4 cancer. They have just learned the diagnosis is Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor or DSRCT, and Bowen has recently been moved to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where a skilled medical team is exploring possible treatment options.

Because the hospital is over an hour and a half away from their home, Bowen and Addy are already facing significant expenses for travel, lodging, and medical needs. On top of that, as many of you know, Bowen has been a stay-at-home dad to Theo (3) and Malia (18 months). With his illness, they now must also find childcare arrangements, which adds to the financial strain.
