Support Boudica's ICU Battle: Lisa Needs You

Hello everyone,

We're reaching out to help our dear friend Lisa Ortiz, whose sweet cat Boudica (Boudie) is currently in the ICU. Boudie suddenly fell ill, with a rare form of diabetes that went undetected until now. She’s already showing hopeful signs of improvement — lifting her head, recognizing friends, and holding on with a fierce little spirit.

The emergency vet — someone who has seen some of the worst cases — has been fighting hard for Boudie and has been amazed by her progress. Every day, Boudie has been improving. The staff has even called her a little warrior with an incredible spirit, true to her namesake, the warrior queen Boudica.

Lisa, who is one of the kindest and most hardworking people you could meet, has been doing everything possible to support Boudie’s care — even working conventions out of town while staying in constant touch with the hospital. She’s had friends visiting Boudie daily, making sure she knows she’s loved and not alone.

Boudie’s medical bills have now passed $25,000. Despite everything Lisa is doing, this is more than she can handle alone.
