Help Our Students travel to perform in Portugal’s Orchestra Festival!

We are thrilled to announce that Boston String Academy’s Youth Ensemble has been invited to participate at Orquestra Geraçao's Festival in Lisbon, Portugal in July 2026.

The concluding concert at the Aula Magna Hall will showcase both our Youth Ensemble, performing standalone pieces, and collaborating with the fabulous Orchestra Geraçao’s Symphony Orchestra. The combined orchestra will present compositions by Vivaldi, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, and Marquez.

Our students will have an unparalleled opportunity for cultural exchange, as well as exploring iconic landmarks in Lisbon, visiting museums, and attending local performances.

Most of the funding for this trip must be raised by Boston String Academy and our families. Specifically, we seek to raise $15,000 to cover expenses and provide scholarships to the young musicians whose families are unable to contribute.
