Support Boston Hegland

Hello, my name is Andrea Rogers. On March 29th, 2024, my nephew, Boston Hegland suffered a devastating brain injury after a tragic accidental shooting. After being air flighted to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, Boston is now fighting for his life. I am creating this page to raise funds to help with expenses so Boston’s family can focus on Boston’s recovery.

Boston is an enthusiastic 13 year old boy about to finish 6th grade at Denison Elementary School in Idabel, Oklahoma. Boston is receiving around the clock support from his grandmother, Rhonda Hegland and his parents Matthew Hegland and Jasmine Sherrell. Boston lives with his grandmother, Rhonda Hegland, a secretary at Denison Schools and his father Matthew Hegland. Boston’s family is fiercely devoted to him and ask that you join with them in praying for Boston’s complete recovery. Your donation will help assure that Rhonda, Matthew and Jasmine can be with Boston in Shreveport. While Boston is currently holding his own, even surprising his doctors, his condition remains very critical. The goal, for now, is to keep him stable while continuing to evaluate his condition.

Boston had a successful surgery today. The facility is limiting visitations to immediately family only. We greatly appreciate everyone’s prayers and support. Boston is fight so hard!
