Update:
Bo has been home since Sunday and he is doing ok. Sleeping alot and getting around slowly with a walker. His memory of the 7 days in the hospital is non-existent, which I am ok with because he doesn’t need to remember the pain he was in for that week. He will have to have several follow up doctor appointments with his neurologist and hematologist as to what the next steps are. I have went back to work and he will not be able to go back to work for a while. His mom has been staying with us. All the doctors will have to get together and release him back to working. We appreciate all the donations that we have got so far as they will help us pay for continuing medical and household bills. We love each and every one of you guys. We have full hearts and can feel all the prayers we have had over the last week and a half.
Bo is currently in the hospital after a blood clot in his neck led to a stroke on the right side of his brain. This has been an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for our family. The stroke has affected Bo’s ability to work, and both of us have been out of work for the past week as we focus on his recovery and navigate the challenges ahead.
The expenses are quickly adding up—medical bills, rehabilitation, household bills, gas, food, and even parking garage fees are all weighing heavily on us. While I am planning to return to work as soon as Bo is stable, and Bo will go back as soon as he is able, we are facing a financial crisis in the meantime. Your support will help us cover these urgent costs and allow us to focus on Bo’s healing without the constant worry about how to pay for everything.
Friends and family, we are reaching out to ask for your help during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for us. We appreciate all of you and are so grateful for your love and support. Much love!
