Friends, this is difficult for me to write, but I wanted to be open about what’s been going on in my life. Over the past year, I’ve become disabled due to severe osteoarthritis in my left hip and right knee. It has progressed to the point where I can no longer walk without a cane or rollator, and in some situations I am in a wheelchair. On top of that, I’ve lost vision in one eye, which has medically disqualified me from continuing my work as a truck driver. Losing my ability to work has been especially hard, as driving has been my livelihood for many years.

I have applied for disability benefits, but the approval process can take time. During this period, we’ve been incredibly grateful that Julie’s parents have been helping us, however any additional help would ease their burden and help us get through until benefits are approved. I don’t like asking for help, but right now I truly need it. I’ve started this GoFundMe to help cover medical expenses and basic living costs while I navigate these changes.

If you’re able to help in any way—whether by donating or sharing—I would be incredibly grateful. Your support, encouragement, and kindness mean more to me than I can put into words. Thank you for taking the time to read this. With love and gratitude, Boris
