Samaritans Purse is A 501(c)(3) located in Boone, NC. They are mobilizing volunteers to assist homeowners affected by Hurricane Helene with tree work, debris cleanup, roof tarping, and mud outs.
They've set up a field hospital with oxygen in Boone. Their current base of operations in the High Country is at Alliance Bible Fellowship. Their motto is
'Go and do likewise.' You can volunteer to help in the cleanup or donate to the cause.

Hi! I am raising money for my parents whose home, located in Boone, NC, got hit by a mudslide during Helene. Their cars are severely damaged and half of the house is gone. Praise God that everyone is alive and well. Insurance does not cover landslides so they will not help expense wise.
My sister captured the mudslide on video as it was happening.
They are still without power and running water but have food and drinking water stored up.
All donations will go towards reconstruction efforts. My parents requested that you DO NO DONATE if money is tight.
