For Boon and Lana Eccles

Boon (Cliff) and Lana Eccles have been cherished members of the Mankato community for decades. Many people may know Boon from his delicious BBQ, or from the careful, meticulous work he has done on their homes. More than that, he is the kind of person who is always ready to lend a hand and help someone in need, even when he has very little himself. Now Boon and Lana are facing an unimaginable loss after a house fire on Belgrade Ave. The fire took nearly everything they had. Most heartbreakingly, two of their beloved dogs died, and two others are still being treated. Their dogs meant the world to them, which makes this loss even more painful.

Right now, Boon and Lana are staying in a hotel with only a few basic items they were able to buy from Wal-Mart. This support will help ease the financial burden as they begin to rebuild, replace essentials, and care for their surviving pets. Most of all, it will give them the space to focus on their family and on getting through one day at a time.
