Support Bonnie's Fight for Environmental Justice

Hi, I'm Bonnie, and I'm an autistic mutant Jersey Girl from Pennsville, NJ. I grew up in the shadow of our nation's progress. Just downstream from the Dupont Chambers Works site, where they produced Teflon and many other very nasty chemicals that are proven to be terrible for all living things. Over the years, more evidence has come forward in the form of legal actions against Dupont corporation. I have helped shed sunlight on Dupont's heinous actions and egregious harms against the citizens of Salem County and Planet Earth. By working with NPR, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Gretchen Morgenson at NBC News, and the very fine folks at NJ Spotlight (NJ PBS), I managed to get a LOT more eyes on what's been going on.

Yesterday The State of New Jersey got a win, 450 million dollars will be spent on remediating the mess these corporations left behind for generations to suffer through. This is a drop in the bucket of what is needed to truly fix the problem, unfortunately. A separate lawsuit was filed by Carneys Point Township, an has been in the courts for the last nine years.

We've been fighting against Dupont and Chemours corporations to do the bare minimum and just CLEAN UP THEIR MESS. The problem here, is that they don't want to admit they caused this mess in the first place. Years and years of legal back and forth have brought us closer to justice. We will keep fighting until we win, because we know the truth.

I am asking for your help, to fund the blood work that I desperately need done to prove how badly this terrible corporation has screwed me over. Without insurance, some of these tests are very very expensive. I set the goal high, because this is one of those types of fights, folks. These are the people who are trying to run the world. If folks like me can't prove their malfeasance, they will get away without punishment or justice. I refuse to let that happen as long as I am alive... And let me tell you, it is very difficult to stay alive these days. So, PLEASE help if you can. This crusade is my purpose in life, to help myself and my community that helped raise me. They all deserve better than what we have right now. You do too.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you learned something from this, if nothing else.
