Support Bonnie Through Her Battle

On November 17, 2025, Bonnie was admitted to Hillcrest Hospital after a fall at home left her increasingly weak. The medical team immediately began working to understand what was happening so she could begin moving toward healing. It wasn’t long before they suspected cancer. Doctors performed biopsies on both her shoulder and hip, which has caused her significant pain.

In the first week of December, Bonnie received a devastating diagnosis: Stage 4 ovarian cancer that has spread to the uterus and metastasized to her bones.

Bonnie moved to PAM Rehabilitation Center on December 6 to work on regaining strength. Once she is strong enough, she will undergo surgery for a hysterectomy. Treatment options have been discussed, but no long-term plans can be made yet—her immediate need is to stabilize and rebuild her strength.

Because of the progression of the cancer, doctors estimate that Bonnie has a year or less with us here on earth.

Bonnie has three daughters—two living in Texas and one in New York. Much of her extended family is in Washington, and aside from her close friends, she does not have family nearby in the Tulsa area. She is a proud grandmother of six, and her greatest desire now is to spend as much time as possible with her grandbabies, who are the light of her life.

Bonnie helped train me when I first earned my real estate license, and she has been an incredible inspiration ever since. A single mom who built a career and excelled in it while raising her children, she earned her real estate license in 1996 and went on to coach, teach, and lead realtors through the Oklahoma Real Estate Academy, Radar Group, Coldwell Banker, and Realty One Group over the next 23 years. She has held her broker’s license for 25 years, was named Realtor of the Year in 2019, served as Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors President in 2018, and served as MLS Tech President in 2019, and Pass President in 2020. Overall, she served 12-15 years on the board alone.

Bonnie has lived and worked in the Broken Arrow area her entire real estate career—her heart belongs to the Tulsa community. She has sold over 1,200 homes, trained more than 1,800 real estate agents, and built a career that truly deserves celebration. She has lifted so many of us along the way, myself included, and now it is our turn to lift her up. ❤️

Private coaching has become one of Bonnie’s greatest joys, and she hopes to continue doing it for as long as she is able. But very hard days and months are ahead.

Bonnie has touched countless hearts, and I pray that our Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and real estate communities will come together to support a woman who has given so much to all of us. My hope is that she will not have to worry about the burdens that are coming—medical bills, deductibles, transportation, daily needs, or the arrangements she will eventually face. If we can take even an ounce of stress off her during the hardest journey of her life, then we should.

Please donate what you can, say a prayer, and send every good vibe her way.
