Support Bonnie Sue's Health and Moving Needs
My name is Bonnie Sue, and I worked in Police and 911 for over 42 years helping people as best as I could. Now I need some help.
The picture was last year at a 50th class reunion. Since then, my health has been declining a little, both mentally and physically. I retired in 2021, and after 6 months, I went into a deep depression, feeling that if I couldn't help people anymore, I was useless. The depression had me on the edge of suicide a few times, only stopping because I had my kitties to take care of. I neglected myself and my health because of it. Reaching out for help wasn't something I could do because I was the one who helped, not the one who needed it.
After a health scare, my doctor confirmed my blood pressure was dangerously high, and I had an enlarged heart. After getting that mostly under control, this past August, I was rushed to the hospital for a possible stroke (I had a stroke in 2005) only to find out I've had multiple strokes and they've found a brain aneurysm.
I have been trying to move from a 2-story walk-up to a place where I have an elevator, which I found. I've had to use all my savings and investments to keep two households afloat. I need to hire some assistance to help me pack and move, as my health problems leave me limited in my ability to do as much as I need to do.
It's embarrassing to ask for help, but I am asking. Anyone who knows how debilitating depression is, plus ongoing serious health problems, please consider helping me.
Thank you so much.
