Many in our community know Bonnie Burnett for her kindness, work ethic, and dedication to the people around her. Bonnie spent many years working at Grossman’s and for the past 18 years has faithfully served MSAD #1 as a Bus Driver and Custodian, helping care for our students and schools every single day.
Recently, Bonnie was diagnosed with non-small cell carcinoma that has spread to her tailbone, shoulder, and ribs. As she prepares to begin treatment in the coming weeks, she is facing not only the physical and emotional challenges of cancer, but also the financial burden that comes with medical care and necessary home modifications.
Because of her condition, Bonnie will need to renovate her bathroom and bedroom to make them safer and easier to use during treatment and recovery. These changes will help her remain comfortable and maintain independence while she focuses on healing.
We are asking our community, friends, and anyone who knows Bonnie or simply wants to help, to please consider making a donation. Every contribution—no matter the size—will help ease the financial stress and allow Bonnie to focus on what matters most: her health and recovery.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Bonnie in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
Thank you for supporting Bonnie during this difficult time. Together, we can help lift her up and remind her that she is not facing this fight alone.
