Stephen and I recently lost our sweet cat, BatGirl, and we are really feeling it. She brought so much comfort, love, and happiness into our lives, and losing her has been another hard hit for us. Since Julio passed, things have honestly been very hard financially, and it feels like we have been trying to keep up with one hardship after another. Most recently, we had to take on the expenses related to BatGirl at a time when we were already stretched way beyond what we can handle.

This fundraiser is to help us with BatGirl’s recent expenses and to take a little pressure off the bigger financial struggle we are still dealing with every day. This is not just one rough week for us. The bills and stress keep coming, and we are doing our best to stay on top of basic needs while we grieve and try to get through this.
