Our Friend, Bonnie, Needs Your Help

Donation protected
Please help our dear family friend of many years.

A few years ago, Bonnie became very ill. Her body slowly stopped tolerating food, rarely allowing her to keep anything down. At times her weight was around 90lbs on her 5’2 frame. She had no other option but to close her cleaning business and focus on her health, with her husband, Gene, by her side.

Bonnie’s doctors put in a feeding tube and performed several surgeries. Months later, hospice came to her door. Bonnie, however, was not ready to die, and she sent them away.

Needless to say, them medical bills were adding up. Bonnie and Gene lost their house (in Missouri) and had to move in to a rental close by. Making the best of things, Bonnie turned the rental into their home. On her good days, Bonnie cleaned and mowed the lawn, being sure it always looked presentable.

Through prayer, she experienced a minor breakthrough. Her diagnosis changed with no medical explanation. She wasn’t out of the woods, but she had new hope.

Last month, on Valentine’s Day, Bonnie needed to see a doctor. Gene wasn’t feeling well that afternoon and chose to go to bed early. When Bonnie returned late that night, she found that Gene had died in his sleep.

Bonnie didn’t see it coming. Gene’s recent physical stated he was in good heath. As the next few days passed, she learned more about her financial situation. They were completely out of money. Gene worked for himself and his business closed when he died.

Bonnie lost her rental this month. She moved into a friend’s basement with her two dogs and bird. She contacted the state to see what her options were and realized the resources they offered would take 3 months to process.

she simplified her expenses as much as possible, but she needs our help. Please give what you can to help her. She is struggling to persevere against all odds.

She has an immediate need of $4,000 to help cover her expenses until social security is processed.

In addition, we would like to help her pay off her car and the medical expenses from her husband’s death. This totals to $21,000.

We all appreciate your prayers for her, and any support you can give.
