Hey this is Milan Nikolic and I am again trying to help out my friend Bojan who's fighting cancer. Through the initial help of good people, Bojan was able to fight through the first round of therapy that showed positive signs of progress. He needs to keep getting therapy and the costs keep piling up.
Bojan asked me to post his story as part of this fundraiser:
My name is Bojan Vuksanovic. I am 39 years old, a full-time basketball scout with the Sacramento Kings organization, and I am fighting stage IV metastatic melanoma.
Basketball has been my profession and my anchor. I continue working full-time because purpose matters — especially when everything else feels uncertain. Staying connected to my work, my routine, and the people around me helps me hold on to a sense of normal life during the most difficult battle I’ve ever faced.
My life changed when I was diagnosed with advanced melanoma. Since then, I have undergone surgeries, immunotherapy, radiation, frequent MRIs and PET scans, and ongoing oncology care. The disease has spread, the treatments are intense, and the road is not easy — but I am still here. Still showing up. Still fighting.
While I am doing everything I can medically and mentally, the reality is that this journey comes with a heavy burden — physically, emotionally, and financially. Many essential parts of treatment are only partially covered, and the ongoing pressure has become overwhelming at times.
I am not giving up. I am committed to continuing treatment, continuing work, and continuing to fight for my life. The support of others makes an enormous difference in that fight.
Any help — whether through a donation, a message, or simply sharing this page — truly means more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for standing with me during this battle.
With gratitude,
Bojan Vuksanovic
