Support Bogusia's Battle Against Cancer

Dear Family, Friends, and kind hearted Strangers,

My name is Kasia Los and I am reaching out to you with heavy heart but strong spirit to share the story of my dear friend Bogusia.

In April of 2023, Bogumila Brozek was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.

She had been suffering from a severe headache for weeks and ended up in ER. She underwent multiple scans, which showed 4 cm tumor in her brain and 27 small tumors all over her brain. These results lead to an invasive surgery of her brain to remove the larger tumor.

Thankfully, the neurosurgery team completed a successful surgery and ultimately saved her life.

After countless tests and scans, she was given a diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer. The breast cancer had spread to her brain, lymph nodes, and bones. She underwent radiation treatments for her brain and is still going through chemotherapy treatments. She is also doing oxygen therapy multiple times a week.

As you can imagine, this diagnosis has turned her world (and ours) upside down. She has been incredibly positive throughout this whole experience and continues to use her inner strength to fight each and everyday.

Unfortunately, she is unable to work and cannot financially support her treatments and medical bills anymore. I am launching this GoFundMe with the hopes of helping her cover her medical bills, replace lost income during her time off work, as well as additional treatment options she may choose down the line.

Your generosity will allow her to focus on her treatments and recovery without the added financial burden.

Mam na imię Kasia Los i z ciężkim sercem, ale silnym duchem zwracam się do Was, aby podzielić się historią mojej drogiej przyjaciółki Bugusi.

W kwietniu 2023 Bogusia trafiła na ostry dyżur z powodu ostrego bólu i zawrotów głowy utrzymujących sie przez kilka tygodni. Przeszła wiele badań, które wykazały 4-centymetrowy guz w jej mózgu. Nastepnego dnia Bogusia przeszla ​​inwazyjna operacje mózgu w celu usunięcia guza.

Następnie przeszła kolejne badania co dały kolejne niekorzystne diagnozy.

Rak piersi w 4 stadium z przerzutami do mózgu , węzłów chłonnych i kości.

Na mózgu zostało jeszcze 27 małych guzów (nieoperacyjnych) . Bogusia przeszła radioterapię mózgu i jest w trakcie chemioterapii.

Oraz stosuje inne zabiegi wspomagające jak np komora tlenowa czy akupunktura.

Jak możecie sobie wyobrazić jej świat przewrócił się do góry nogami .

Bogusia jest niezwykle pozytywna i codziennie dzielnie walczy z chorobą. Niestety nie jest zdolna do pracy i nie jest w stanie opłacić rachunków i dodatkowych zabiegów.
