Hi friends, my name is Beatrix, and I’m the owner of Bodhi Imports here in Lincoln. Bodhi has been a cherished part of our community for nearly three decades — a space built on love, community, and connection.

On Friday, a vehicle lost control and crashed into the front of our store. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the damage has forced us to close temporarily. We’re awaiting a building inspection tomorrow morning to determine when we can reopen to the public.

With this happening right before the holidays, the timing couldn’t be more difficult. We don’t yet know how long repairs will take, how it will impact business, or how quickly insurance will come through — there are a lot of moving parts right now.

I’ve created this fundraiser to help cover any unexpected expenses that arise that may not be covered by insurance during this uncertain time.

Bodhi has one of the strongest, most loving communities around it — and I’ve truly felt that love through your messages, shares, and support these last couple of days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the kindness and compassion you’ve shown.
