Support Bob's Continuing Journey

Hi, I’m Mackenzie, Bob’s daughter. Never would I have ever pictured that I would be making a post as such, but here we are. Today, Dad was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for chest pain, but then transferred to a more equipped hospital downtown with more resources for a medical emergency by critical care ambulance, and admitted to the ICU. This has been such a whirlwind and will take Dad quite some time to heal, and be off his feet for even longer.

I wanted to create this GoFundMe in case there was anyone who wanted to help/donate/etc. Thoughts and prayers are what is needed most right now, but I also know that the care he is receiving is priceless to his family, does come with its price for admission, testing, medications, etc.

As of right now we’re looking at 2 ambulances ride, one of which with a critical transport crew & rig, endless labs/tests, and a minimum of 4 ICU nights pending surgery recommendations. Surgery will require more time in Intensive Care, and then step-down care including therapy and whatever else may be necessary. 

He will not be able to return to the job he knew and had been with since my sister and I were small and playing dress up in his oversized work shirts. This has been difficult for the entire family and we are just trying to keep moving forward and deal with everything as it comes, one step at a time.
