My name is Paula, and many of our customers, friends, and family know me from Bob’s CB Shop. For nearly six years, Bob has been fighting a difficult battle with his health. He’s been in and out of the hospital many times each year, needing countless blood transfusions and platelet infusions. In April, we finally received a diagnosis: Bob has CMML, a form of leukemia. While it was a relief to have answers, the treatment has been incredibly hard on him. Still, Bob’s determination is inspiring—he goes to work every day he can, even on days when he needs a wheelchair to get inside.

This is not something I ever imagined doing, but I am reaching out to ask for help. Our goal is to keep Bob’s CB Shop open, not just for us, but for our loyal customers and dedicated employees who rely on us. Bob is making progress with his treatment, but the road ahead is long and uncertain. The costs of medical care and running the business are adding up quickly, and we can’t do it alone.
