Support Bobby’s fight against Burkitt’s Lymphoma
Anyone who has ever met Bobby knows that he is the life of every room he has ever been in. He has never known a stranger and has more love for his family and friends than anyone you will ever meet.
What started out as a sore mouth after a dental operation, quickly turned into a very swollen mass on Bobby’s left jaw and very little answers on why. On October 6th, Bobby was taken to the ER with lots of pain in his mouth. It was here that the word ‘cancer’ was first used. Although undiagnosed, multiple scans and tests showed an aggressive tumor eating at Bobby’s jaw and throat.
Over the next few days, multiple tests and biopsies were done to determine the type and severity of cancer Bobby was facing. He was officially diagnosed with Stage IV Burkitt’s lymphoma, a rare and extremely aggressive form of cancer. With how fast Burkitt’s progresses, Bobby will endure intensive chemotherapy over the next several months.
While all of this uncertainty is terrifying, Bobby remains unchanged in his strength and love for all things around him. He is fighting like hell every day with love and support from everyone around him.
Why we need help.
In late July, Bobby lost his job and because of that, lost his health insurance. With how intense his chemotherapy treatment is, he will be unable to work for the next several months. This, along with mounds of medical bills already piling up, puts Bobby and his wife at risk of losing everything. Below is just a small list of things that donations will help cover:
• Medical expenses not covered by insurance
• Lost wages
• Basic Living expenses during his battle
• Travel/overnight hospital stays
• Post-treatment care and recovery
On the behalf of Bobby and his wife Jennifer and their children and grandchildren, we just want to say thank you. Your support means the world to us. Please keep Bobby in your thoughts and prayers.
BOBBY IS GOING TO KICK CANCER’S ASS
A very good friend of mine was just diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma. He’s a devoted husband and father of two, and also soon to be a grandfather. Unfortunately, he lost his job a few months ago and doesn’t have insurance. His wife is unable to add him to her insurance until January.
The treatment is aggressive due to the fact the cancer is very aggressive. Unfortunately, they will lose everything that they have due to the cost of treatments.
