Hello,
My name is Meisha Duckford, I am the 1st cousin to Bobby-Ray Milne and I appreciate you taking a moment to read his story.
On the 1st of June 2024, Bobby-Ray had been involved in a two car accident which resulted him enduring severe injuries and being put in an induced coma.
Bobby-Ray is a young father to his two beautiful girls, and works as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner at the Local Health Service in Ceduna. Bobby-Ray had recently travelled to Tasmania where he was presented a National Award for his outstanding leadership in ATSI eye health. Bobby-Ray is so proud of his award and was keen to get back to Ceduna to share his accomplishment with his family and community.
Currently, he is still fighting in ICU at the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he is surrounded by family. The Medical Professionals involved in his care are happy with his progress, however they are uncertain of how much brain damage he has sustained.
We are reminded everyday that Bobby-Ray will face a long recovery.
We as a family would appreciate any contributions that will help assist Bobby-Ray’s financial commitments during this difficult period and support the immediate family to stay in Adelaide to be with Bobby-Ray.
Adelaide is 800kms away from the family home and immediate family are currently staying in hotels nearby the hospital which they’re unable to continue to cover financially. We are also unsure of how long family will need to stay in Adelaide by Bobby-Ray’s side.
If you are unable to donate at this time please take the time to share.
Thank you for your generosity.
Love from the Milne/Miller family.
