We are the children of Bobby and Penny Earls, and we are raising funds for our parents. Bobby is a retired pastor who has spent over 40 years serving his community, and Penny is a retired school teacher who has touched countless lives with her kindness and dedication. Throughout their lives, our parents have always put the needs of others before their own, giving selflessly to their family, friends, and anyone in need. They have been the foundation of our family, loving and supporting us unconditionally.
In July of 2025, our world changed when our father was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic carcinoma. Since then, he has undergone intensive chemotherapy, which has taken a tremendous toll on his health. He has lost significant weight, faced multiple hospitalizations due to life-threatening complications, and now relies on a feeding tube. As if this wasn't enough, in October, our mother suffered a fall that resulted in a broken hip and required a hip replacement. Her recovery has been slow and challenging, and both of our parents now struggle with daily activities that most of us take for granted.
Their two-story home has become increasingly difficult for them to navigate. They urgently need a stair lift to safely access the upper floor, and a bathroom renovation to install a walk-in tub for our mother, reducing her risk of falling again. On top of these challenges, their fixed retirement income is stretched thin by mounting medical bills, prescription costs, and other unexpected expenses. The funds raised will go directly toward these essential renovations, medical expenses, and hopefully paying off their car, which would greatly ease their financial burden and allow them to focus on healing.
Any support you can offer would be a massive relief for our family. Our parents have spent their lives giving to others, and now, in their time of need, we hope this fundraiser helps them feel seen, appreciated, and surrounded by love. Your generosity will not only meet their immediate needs but also remind them that they are not alone. Thank you for considering a gift to help Bobby and Penny—your kindness will make a world of difference.
