A Personal Appeal for a Visionary Artist and Community Builder
Send your love to Bobby! Make videos and send messages here. Jane will share your love with him.
love love love!
Bobby Furst—visionary assemblage artist and community builder, the heart behind FurstWurld—is facing private but serious health challenges. At the same time, the future of FurstWurld, a cultural haven he lovingly built in Joshua Tree, hangs in the balance.
We are launching this campaign to raise urgent and long-term support for two deeply personal missions:
1. To help cover Bobby’s private medical needs.
2. To create a financial foundation that ensures the continued operation and legacy of FurstWurld—a one-of-a-kind creative sanctuary—for generations to come.
Why This Matters
For decades, Bobby has poured his time, sweat and soul into FurstWurld. It’s more than a gallery or venue—it’s a sacred space for expression, inclusion, and radical creativity. Countless artists, musicians, filmmakers, and free spirits have found inspiration and community here.
Now, it’s our turn to give back.
How Funds Will Be Used
• Private Health Needs: Immediate medical costs, treatment, wellness support, and care for Bobby.
• FurstWurld in Perpetuity: Establishing a sustainable fund to cover maintenance, programming, staffing, and legal protections to preserve the site as a living legacy.
How You Can Help
Whether you’ve experienced a magical night at FurstWurld, been moved by Bobby’s art, or simply believe in protecting spaces that nurture human creativity, we ask for your support.
• Donate what you can—every dollar helps.
• Share this campaign far and wide.
• Consider recurring monthly contributions to help build long-term stability.
From Bobby’s Heart to Yours
Bobby has always lived with an open heart and open doors. Let’s show him that his community far and wide stands with him, now and into the future.
Thank you for being part of the FurstWurld legacy.
