Hi my name is Bobbisue and I am a recovering addict who also has epilepsy. I am currently in sober living and go to treatment classes 7days a week. I have at least 4 seizures a week but I always serious about my recovery so I haven't missed one class in 4 months. My recovery journey started 4 months ago when I used and had a major seizure I died and for some reason the paramedics were able to keep me stable until I got to the hospital. I ended up going into a coma and was on life support for ten days. When I woke up out of the coma I didn't remember who I was or where I was, absolutely nothing. I have been arrested before so the police came and fingerprinted me and found out who I was. I ended up spending another 2 weeks in the hospital and because I had drugs in my system when I came in they asked me if I wanted to go to rehab. I jumped at the chance and have graduated from 2 rehab and am in my 3rd now. Before all this I was living with a drug dealer doing horrible things just to get high. I'm not going to go into all the trauma I have been through in my life because lots of people have trauma and don't use drugs but I did. That's how I dealt with things by not feeling. I'm now 46 with no home, no savings account, no car, and no way of getting anything. I am eating once a day because that's all I can with the free food I get. I don't have money to get my birth certificate and because I was born in Florida I can't get a free one through the place I'm at. So no idea what to do. I need to sign up for social security but I can't without an ID so I am not asking for a lot I just need a little help to be able to get everything I need to get a jump start at my new sober life.
