Our dear friend Bobbie (Kathy's) husband, Chris (Creech), has been hit with a sudden and life-threatening medical crisis. On Friday, February 28, Creech suffered a massive brain bleed that required immediate brain surgery amongst other life-saving measures. Since then, he has undergone a second major surgery and is currently in the Neuro ICU on life support. His condition is critical, and the future is uncertain.

As you can imagine, this is an incredibly challenging time for Bobbie and her family. Creech works full-time for the VA, and Bobbie, who works tirelessly as an ICU RN, is doing everything she can to be by his side while also caring for their young children.

While Bobbie has always been the one to give everything for others, now it’s time for us to come together to support her and her family. We are raising funds to help cover Creech’s medical expenses, including hospital bills, treatments, medications, and any other needs Bobbie may face in the coming weeks and months as she navigates this uncertain journey.

Bobbie is a truly one-of-a-kind person. To know her is to love her. She’s the nurse who will cook meals for her patients when the hospital food isn’t up to par, the person who helps coordinate weddings in the ICU to make a patient’s dream come true, and the one who would give you the shirt off her back—and then buy you one in every color if you needed it. Her heart is pure gold.

Creech and Bobbie have created a blended family filled with love, laughter, and hope. Now, they need our help. With the uncertainty of Creech’s recovery, and the overwhelming costs of care, we’re hoping to raise $22,000 to ease the financial burden and allow Bobbie to focus on being there for Creech and their children.
