Hello, my name is Maura and after weeks of debating, I have decided to create a GoFundMe for my sister, Bobbi Jean. She was recently diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder. After a normal night with her children, she was woken up unable to walk, talk, or see. She spent 3 days in UPMC Presbyterian being poked, scanned, and tested for just about everything their neurology team could think of. For now, this diagnosis is temporary as she still needs multiple tests to rule out other more serious neurological issues.

Over the past several weeks, she has been hospitalized multiple times, and in turn, has missed a great deal of work. So I am asking for help to cover her groceries, bills, missing wages, and medical expenses while she undergoes dozens of appointments and testing. Any and all help is appreciated, but as her sister and anyone who knows her or has asked her how to help knows, she doesn't take help nor asks for it easily. So I thought this would be a way to take a very large stressor off her plate, as stress makes her symptoms worse, without her having to ask.
