Hello and thanks so much for checking out our GoFundMe; we are the Talking Comic Books crew and we provide a weekly podcast that speaks to the nerd in each of us. We are here asking for support for the heart and soul of our show, Mr. Bob Reyer, who, after giving support to so many people over so many years, finds himself now in need of ours. Here's a little bit about him below.

From Bob: My Mom & Dad always told me that it was important to help people as you can, that the good you put out into the world will come back to you. Taking that to heart, I've used what resources I had to aid good friends in buying their first house, to make sure that loved ones had a roof over their heads when that didn't seem possible, to pay bills for folks who couldn't make ends meet, or simply (perhaps more importantly) just be a shoulder to lean on in tough times.

Those tough times are at my doorstep now. The last decade-and-a-half have been a struggle, what with long bouts of being "under-employed", or as is the case presently, out of work, and as I've found over the last few years, it isn't easy being a senior citizen and trying to find work that will keep the wolves at bay. Add in multiple ongoing medical issues that aren't being addressed due to lack of health insurance, and the stresses are coming from all angles.

Despite living frugally, I find that I've outlived my finances, and I sorely need the "good karma" I spoke of back at the start to help keep me afloat until I get back on my feet. Any contribution you can make helps create a new arc, so "Thanks!", much appreciation, and love in advance.

The goal established is to allow Bob to manage his household until such time as we can get him employed again and back in a good place.
