Support Bob Mason: 44 Years of Service to the EMS Community
Donation protected
If you've worked EMS in the Denver Metro area, you've probably met Bob Mason. He's taught BLS, ACLS, PALS, IV certification and more to many of us. Now, I'm asking if you know Bob or just want to help, give him 5. If everyone he has impacted were to share $5, Bob and his wife would be a step closer to the care needed.
Here is his story in his own words:
"I retired in March from Stadium Medical after 44 years of service , including several years at Reed Ambulance, AMR, NSMC, Western Ambulance and then at Stadium. In all those years, I have met some of the most amazing people. Now I write asking for prayers, since many things have not been going too good lately. I fell many times in the last 6 months due to my bad knees, resulting in damage to my spine at T11 & 12, L3&4, L5 & S1 now requiring surgery. I have been diagnosed with skin cancer on my head and now am waiting to rule our prostate cancer. We are also facing my wife of39 years being diagnosed with breast cancer last month, requiring surgery and subsequent treatment. If that was not enough to bear, my beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, my heart dog, Punky crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. We are just devastated right now."
Please consider giving Bob a High Five ($5.00) if you can. Thank you!
Update 12/30/24 2000: Shelley is recovering well after surgery.
