SERVICE INFORMATION:

Robert J. Kilner II, age 65, of Garfield Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, surrounded by his family, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born on May 5, 1960, in Cleveland, Robert was the son of the late Robert J. Kilner, Sr. and Margaret Kilner. He was the beloved husband of nearly 44 years to Sharon (Huntley) Kilner and the proud and devoted father of Robert J. Kilner III, Jennifer (Richard) Cieslak, and Michael Kilner. He was the loving brother of Kathy (Al) Ungren and Raymond (Tina) Kilner. He was also a cherished grandfather to RJ and Izabella Cieslak and Sadie Kilner. To his many family and friends, Robert was a source of endless love, humor, and generosity, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. Robert’s love for his family and community will never be forgotten, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, Robert could always be found on game days in front of the television—cheering on his team with passion, or just as often, poking fun at the orange and brown. His quick wit and loyalty extended beyond football, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.
In honoring Robert’s wishes, his family requests that all who attend his memorial service please wear Cleveland Browns apparel—yes, even Steelers fans are expected to abide by this request, no exceptions.
Family and friends are invited (in their Cleveland Browns apparel) to join us for a celebration of life at Lakeview Church of God, 7555 York Road, Parma OH, 44130 on Saturday, September 6 at 11 A.M. with a luncheon to follow the service. We hope you can join us to honor the life of a wonderful man.

—————
The Kilner family has received some news to flip their worlds upside down. Bob Kilner was suddenly diagnosed with a rare form of Aggressive Neuroendocrine Carcinoma Cancer (NEC) and it is spreading rapidly. Bob has made the choice of doing in home hospice care.
With this sudden and unexpected news, it is sadly leaving the family with financial worries on afterlife arrangements on top of dealing with already the hardship of losing such an amazing husband, father, grandfather and brother.
No donation is too small and would greatly help the family during this very tough time. Let’s all help Bob as he has helped so many of us throughout our lives.
If there are any other ways you’d like to possibly help besides on gofundme such as a meal, gift card and etc., please feel free to contact me (Jessica- Bob’s daughter in law) and I will make sure everything gets directly to the family.
