My name is Laura (Laurie) Hooper Medico, daughter of Bob & Judy Hooper from Messenger’s Bay in the Town of Sullivan.

Early Sunday morning April 6 their house caught on fire, and they only had enough time to run out their front (lakeside) door. Everything else, phones, purse, wallet, medications, toiletries, were too close to the fire to grab.

While they do have homeowner’s insurance, and are staying with my husband and I at our house, they escaped in literally only their pajamas.

This is to fulfill an immediate and temporary need and 100% of what you donate will go to their immediate needs.
