Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers.
It is with mixed emotions and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our father, Bob "Mad Dog" Johnson. He passed away while in the hospital on June 26th, 2024, after a lifetime of personal struggles and health issues that progressively got worse.
He had been intermittently estranged from our lives, only to return into our lives two months before passing away.
As we come to terms with his death, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give him the dignified and personal send-off he requested, but unfortunately, the financial burden of cremation expenses is overwhelming for both my brother, Robbie and I during this already challenging time. Our father left this world with having very little possessions and no financial means to fund a funeral.
We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Bob's last request. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and coming to terms with his passing. Our father is survived by 2 sisters who have graciously offered to help as they can.
All funds raised will go towards the cremation expenses and a small social gathering of family and close friends to share memories and offer closure. A date and place for the gathering will be forthcoming. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Bob's final wishes of placing his cremains with his father's in their familial plot in Black Lake occur.
We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. Your kindness means the world to us as we navigate through our grief and a multitude of other emotions.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity. With your help, we can lay our father, who is also a brother, uncle, and friend to eternal rest.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Robbie and Lindsey Johnson
