Support Bob Griswold's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone for your continued prayers and support for our good friend, Bob Griswold.
Bob is probably the hardest working person I know and would give you the shirt right off his back if you needed it.
Here’s the situation in a nutshell: 7 years ago, Bob was involved in a motorcycle accident that resulted in a broken neck. He was completely paralyzed for a while but after a major surgery, he was able to start walking again and eventually made a very impressive recovery. After some time, he returned to work as a heavy equipment operator/crane operator. Over the years, he started to decline and within the last year, it got so bad that he just couldn’t work anymore.
Bob decided he needed to get another set of eyes to check him out so he reached out to another surgeon out of our area and that surgeon decided he would help Bob by doing another surgery on his neck.
Well, the day came for that surgery and it all went well. He was set to come back down to SLO and recover in Arroyo Grande, but a day after the surgery, he started having major stomach pains and it turns out he passed a huge blood clot into his stomach and on top of that, his heart went into a fib.
So now, he’s had 3 surgeries and has been at Stanford for going on 3 weeks. Not only is he laid up in a hospital bed fighting to recover but now he is stressing on the bills that are stacking up. Fortunately, Shardell has been by his side the entire time and the cost of hotel rooms and food is starting to really add up.
That is the reason I’m reaching out, I’m hoping we can at the very least help offset some of these bills and hopefully get rid of a little bit of stress for Bob and Shardell. So please donate what you can and if you can’t, please share this link. More than anything, please continue to pray that Bob has a full recovery and can start focusing on this new chapter in his life.
