Robert "Bob" J. Getz, age 53, of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away tragically on April 29, 2025.

Bob is survived by his beloved life partner, Katie Smucker; his children, Julia (Brian) Hunter and Brandon (Mandolyn) Getz; and four stepchildren, Amberlynn Smucker, Jordan Smucker, Collin Arment, and Gabby Arment. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren: Abel, Adalynn, Graelynn, Anslee, Lakyn, Calla, Dean, and Nathan. He is also survived by his brother, David (Clarinda) Getz Jr.; his aunt, Judy Getz; and several cousins.

Bob was very passionate of his family, West Virginia, Reese's, and his work. Bob worked as a Lead Maintenance Operator for Calpine in Edgemoor, DE. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local 1238. He had a great personality that shed onto others, and was always there when needed of a helping hand.

With this loss, we want to make sure Bob's family is able to maintain a sense of normalcy during this time. Any donation would truly be appreciated and goes a long way.
