Support the Fight -- Bob Tremblay and Melissa O’Brien
Bob and Melissa have both been suffering from long-term health issues. Melissa has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, and Bob has dealt with multiple health issues and is now dealing with leukemia that will need a bone marrow transplant. When the bone marrow transplant happens, Bob will need to travel to Boston and stay at the hospital for approximately 25 days and another 90 days at the Hope House. This procedure is currently scheduled for early August 2024. Both Bob and Melissa are currently undergoing chemotherapy and other medical treatments that are taking a physical, mental, and spiritual toll.
Between both partners being seriously ill and the financial strains they are facing, it is nearly impossible for them to focus on their health. With Bob’s health being so precarious, he had to retire early. Their only financial means are from Melissa’s disability and Bob’s social security, so they are living on an extremely limited income. The out-of-pocket costs have taken all their savings and more. They are now facing mounting medical debt along with the pressures of everyday bills and groceries.
Please keep them in your prayers, and if you can offer any financial help, it would be greatly appreciated and go a long way to ease their minds, bodies, and spirits. Thank you for anything you can do to help support their fight and recovery.
