About Bluesman

Bluesman Theatre Company was born behind bars.

We produced our first original play in a New York State Prison with one ornery director, ten incarcerated actors, and no budget.

Now, we're eyeing a Brooklyn debut in Summer 2026.

We specialize in "parlor theatre" offering limited seating and maximum intimacy. At Bluesman Theatre Company every ticket is cheap, every seat is good, and every performance is raw.
