Hello everyone, my name is Blue and I am a 6 year old Great Dane. Recently I had an ankle injury and the doctor told me I just needed to take some medicine for the swelling to go down. I still didn’t feel too good and on Friday (2-7-25) I had two strokes. My mom and dad rushed me to the emergency room where I was given a lot of attention by veterinarians. I was there for about 17 hours and I was having a difficult time putting any weight on my back legs. A veterinarian told me that he thinks something was happening in my brain, so I drove to Irvine to meet a neurologist. This doctor took MRI’s of me and said that I had some fluid and inflammation in my head. Unfortunately I couldn’t go home though because the doctor wanted to watch me over night to make sure I was okay. My mom and dad have been paying all my bills and they are adding up. If you would like to donate anything that would be great. Anything helps. If you can’t donate, I completely understand, a little prayer for me to get better would be just as good !
