Support Blue Robin Films' New Short Film 'Monster'

Hello! Blue Robin Films is a new film company, created by Kameryn Robinson and Jasmine Ballew, two Black female creatives producing original stories through film. We view independence as an opportunity, not a limitation!

Hitting these goals will help us to get the following:

We have already completed our first short film, "The Figure," and we love what we were able to create, but we know we can do even better! Currently, we are looking to make another short film entitled, "Monster," which will release on our official YouTube page alongside the first film.

“Monster” is about a young woman named Lily who is in a toxic relationship with a man. As a child, she watched her mother suffer through verbal and physical abuse with a man. Now Lily has to decide if she will succumb like her mother or fight for herself and leave. The short film will expose how toxic relationships can be complex and how someone may get stuck in one due to their empathy for their abuser.

Achieving the goals we have set will allow us to have the resources to produce a more polished and professional final product.
