Support Blaze's Journey to Find His Voice

Hi, my name is Stephanie & Blaze is the baby of 3, who has recently scored high in autistic evaluations. Over months in Blaze infant/toddler development, I realized that Blaze displayed some behaviors in which were different from my other children at his age. Following his evaluations, specialist has discovered that Blaze has fluid in his ears which can contribute to a delay in expressive language. Blaze is currently non-verbal & in his case there are a lot of pre-linguistic behaviors to target. Some specialities such as OT, ABA, ESDM are the ones established needed for Blaze in order for words to emerge. I’m also seeking feeding therapy for blaze difficulty in using utensils.

In this condition, toddlers are often delayed in getting the assistance they need in hopes of just picking up in the areas they lack with age. I have great faith in Blaze improving but need help with private therapy (paid out of pocket) due to the providing agency via child intervention wait being so long for evaluations. Furthermore, not being much help at all.

AS OF 7/29 - The latest update from children’s hospital, Blaze must start therapy immedietly. Due to his test results declining from what they once were, he must improve before one more final testing or he will have to get surgery. This procedure requires him being sedated.

The wait has become very heartbreaking & a private assessment and diagnosis would hopefully go a long way to helping Blaze. Blaze is starting to become frustrated sometimes in which he is unable to communicate his desires. He is the most important thing to me in life & being his mother is the greatest blessing.
