My 2 year old dog “Blaze” was hit by a car Monday night 11/10/2025

Seems there were deer in the front yard and he chased them and went to the road following them and was hit. I wasn’t sure he would survive the hit an was pinned under the front of the car for about 50 yards. He got up an a limped off an I found him 10 minutes later in the back yard. Blood covered his chest. I rushed him to the vet and waited. Talks between the vet and I off an on for several hours. Finally they had him relaxed, medicated and rested. Multiple cuts, skin burned from being pushed along the asphalt and bruising. So he is now home with many scheduled vet trips for other surgeries and medication a possibly skin grafting for his chest area for the pain he is experiencing. It’s expensive of course, just seeing if those that can afford to help in Blaze’s time of need to receive the proper help and support from his vets. Thank you
