Ok, so after going back and forth with this, I finally decided to give it a go. I often have a difficult time with fundraisers for Blayne’s extra curricular events as they are all usually all at the same time. We have had several people ask about donating money to assist in costs of his extras, so I figured hey we will give it a shot.

If you don’t know, I have always had Blayne heavily involved in several things. Not only does he participate in all of these events school sports, travel baseball, competitive dance, he is a stand up kid who also holds a job and achieves academic excellence in high school.

Unfortunately, as most of you know, this year has took a turn in a crazy direction in our lives as his younger brother Maddox has been dismissed from school since September with no end in sight. This has put a slight burden on us financially as we have to shuffle work schedules around to accommodate him being home from school. I have picked up another job, and work nearly every single day, but in this day and age there is never such thing as “catching up”. All of these extras for Blayne as we had made the commitment prior to Maddox being kicked out of school have to be fulfilled. Vinni and I both work as much as we can to get by, but things don’t always work out in our favor (for example my car was in the shop 7 times in February…yay).

If you don’t know Blayne, he is an extreme talent in his sports, and all together a great kid. Trying to balance out my Autistic son’s needs and my neurotypical son’s needs are by no means a walk in the park.

I am raising money for the travel expenses for both dance competition as well as travel baseball.His schedule is as follows, with a lot of these events calling for a hotel/airbnb:

*Regional Dance Competition-Brockville Canada May 7-10

*Regional Dance Competition-Vestal June 5-7 (commuting)

*Cortland baseball tournament-June 19-21 (commuting)

*Cortland State baseball tournament-June 26-28 (commuting)

*Dance Nationals-July 3-9 in Ottawa Canada (he will be staying with another family as I cannot miss work, I will attend last day)

*Lake Placid baseball tournament July 9-12

*Oswego tournament July 31-August 2nd

* Pennfield tournament August 7th-9th

My grandmother would have made sure all of this happened for him, so I must find a way!!
