Hello, family and friends.

As some of you may already know, my mother (Blanca Saldivar Favela) was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in her throat back in April 2025. Since then, she has had surgery, 10 Chemo treatments and 35 Radiation treatments. She had to use what little savings she had to pay for gas, medication, and food. We were fortunate to find family and friends she trusted to get her to/from appointments since Medicare only provided transportation that covered half her visits. Our multiple requests for additional rides were denied and Medicaid was unable to help based on her plan.

She has since completed her treatments, and her post scans have initially shown no active cancer, but the growth is still there and it will take additional PT scans in the coming weeks/months to be 100% sure.

She is asking for a little help to make up for the financial strain over the last seven months as well as to help with her upcoming appointments. Thank you in advance for those that are able to donate. If you cannot contribute monetarily, prayers and well-wishes are always needed and appreciated.
