Blakely is a sweet, 10-year-old girl who has been dealt an unfortunate hand. Blakely was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, otherwise known as DIPG, on March 16. Her symptoms came on fast and strong, affecting her ability to walk and talk. Her parents quickly got her into Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to start radiation, get a biopsy, and look into clinical trials. This diagnosis is extremely rare, so there isn't a lot of research on it, but her doctors are confident in the clinical trials that are available.
Since radiation is going to be Monday through Friday, her mom (Alisha) had to take an unpaid leave of absence from work. So with medical bills piling up and their family down one income, I am asking for your help with donations to keep them afloat!
