Support Blake Wilson's Heart Transplant Journey

Hi, my name is Cristy. I am setting up this gofundme for my husband, Blake Wilson 39 years old He is in the hospital, waiting for a heart transplant. In December 2023, he suffered a heart attack. They discovered an aneurysm in his heart, so he had open heart surgery to repair it. Then, in May 2024, his heart rate was so high that we returned to the hospital. After performing some tests, they discovered a pocket of blood the size of his heart, which required a second open heart surgery to repair. When he got home, he was getting sicker, so we went back to the hospital on July 4, 2024. The doctors ran some more tests and determined that he needed a heart transplant.

Blake is in heart failure. His condition requires the use of a balloon pump that works for his heart. As a result, Blake will be hospitalized until he can receive a heart transplant because his heart cannot function without the pump. This means going into Center City to see him.
