Hey everybody! My name is Blake Lewis and I am a 22-year-old college student at Columbus State University. I moved to Columbus, Georgia in 2021 to pursue my dream of being a student-athlete. I quickly became plugged into a college church community named College House, and not long after, realized my calling was much larger than anything I could do alone. I was saved and baptized in April of 2023 and haven’t looked back since. Knowing Jesus has changed my life in the best way possible. Ever since I learned who Jesus really was and what he did, I have been feeling an immense weight to serve and spread the news of his grace. That included an 8-week trip to Africa last summer to battle the orphan crisis in rural Kenya, which ended up being the best experience of my life. With all of that being said…

I have the very exciting opportunity to go on a short-term Mission Trip this summer to Ensenada, Mexico with College House Ministries! Our team will be partnering with Yugo Ministries (www.yugo.org) to build a home for a family in need on the Baja Peninsula. By working with the local church in Ensenada, we will be constructing a house within four days. We will be working alongside the family, building relationships with them while building their home.

First, and most importantly, please support our trip with your prayers. This is crucial and I am so thankful for your support. I am excited for this summer, and so grateful for the opportunity to experience God’s grace, as we take part in His calling to spread the Gospel through loving service in Ensenada. I hope to embody the teachings of Jesus by being a beacon of love, compassion, and kindness to the children and community members. By following his example of selflessness and humility, I aim to make a meaningful difference in their lives while also learning from their faith, resilience, and spirit. Through this experience, I hope to deepen my relationship with the Lord and grow in my understanding of his message of love and service to others.
