My name is Blake Lankford and I am a songwriter from Oklahoma City, OK, and I am asking for help to support the release of my first solo rock 'n' roll album, entitled 'Greener Season'.

I've always been a songwriter. My dad is a songwriter. We spent a healthy portion of my youth living in and around Nashville, and when I turned 24, I moved back again. I always enjoy being around songwriters. So many stories to tell, and so many ways to say them.

This album, 'Greener Season,' is its own story.

Four years ago, when the pandemic shut everything down, I was one of the many people wondering what I was going to do for income, food, and shelter. I found myself driving around nice neighborhoods, visualizing what it would be like to have my own place, somewhere I could just make music, day and night, as often and as loudly as I wanted.

Eventually, I saw a 'FOR RENT' sign and called the number. The landlord picked up and happened to be at the house, so I parked and spoke with him. I told him a little of my story and how I was looking to find somewhere I could settle down and finally put my name on a lease. At the end of the conversation, I had keys to the house and began converting the guest room into a studio immediately. Then I began writing and working on a rock record.

Four years later, I'm still in the house and proud to say, the record is complete.

Now it's time to release, and I'm excited to do so, but I need your help.

Making, promoting, and releasing a record is expensive, but with your help, I will have this record pressed, available to stream on all digital platforms, and my website will be built and ready for traffic and commerce.
